Meet the team

Neil brings commercial experience to the Board having founded three businesses, including one in the ‘sport for development’ sector. He has been a student, tutor and client of Leadership Skills Foundation qualifications and is excited to combine these skill sets to support the organisation.

Stephen has spent the majority of his career working for trade associations and has a strong background in business engagement and public affairs. His current role involves leading the UK operations of a global policy trade body representing small tech companies.

Stephen acts as SIT (Senior Independent Trustee) for the Foundation.

Claire currently heads up the largest retail community programme in the UK for Tesco. Throughout her career she has led strategic, award-winning charity partnership communications, media, employee and internal engagement for FTSE companies including John Lewis PLC, Whitbread, Centrica British Gas and Hive.

Dan is incredibly passionate about using sport as a vehicle for social impact and has a varied background in grassroots sport as a mentor, coach and a coach educator.

Dan’s has designed and implemented youth-based employability and leadership projects in India, Nigeria and Ghana as well as in the UK, helping beneficiaries to move closer to a career in the sports industry.

Tom works in the ESG and Sustainable Business team at Brunswick Group where he advises some of the world’s largest organisations on increasing their positive social and environmental impact.

He has volunteered in youth organisations for ten years, including as a board member at the European Youth Forum where he represented 6,000 youth organisations to EU institutions and key stakeholders.

Liz is a skills professional with over 10 years of experience delivering capital, revenue and innovation programmes which have reached tens of thousands of learners globally.

Gulnaz is a lawyer and chartered governance professional who brings legal, compliance and risk experience to the Board.

Euan has over 20 years experience within financial services, with a focus on delivering change in a regulated environment, most recently as a Programme Director at Monzo. Euan also holds Board of Trustee positions at The Primary Club and the Chris Smith Memorial Fund.
