The benefits of taking part in physical activity and sport go well beyond physical wellbeing – although that is more important now than ever before – with participants standing to experience improved mental, social and emotional wellbeing as improved brain function and ability.
The combination of these benefits provide young people with a perfect opportunity to feel more confident in their abilities and build the essential skills which stay with them for life.
During School Sport Week 2022 (Monday 20th June to Sunday 26 June), we’re teaming up with Youth Sport Trust and other members of the School Sport & Activity sector to showcase the importance of sport within education settings.
