Primary PE specialism as part of an undergraduate degree programme

Providing teachers with the most up-to-date and relevant training is a critical process that requires working in partnership from a number of different organisations and institutions.

To achieve this in the field of primary PE specialisam, SLQ Sports Leaders works with a number of partners of providers to deliver high-quality, professional courses to learners at Level 5 and Level 6.

One great example of this kind of relationship is in our work with Plymouth and Cornwall Training and Hartpury University to offer Level 5 Primary PE specialism to undergraduate learners as part of a BSc (Hons) Physical Education and School Sport degree.

Read our case study to learn more about how this relationship has come about and how it provides learners with the perfect opportunity to refine their knowledge in this specialist area, ready for a successful transition to teaching.
