Quality Assurance & Certification

Log into your LEAP (Leadership Electronic Application Portal) account and select your course. Select the certificate tab and tick the learners that have completed the course and click submit. Only named Tutor/Assessors can claim certificates against a particular course. 

Please note that you need to have registered your learners within 8 weeks of the course start date and Sports Leaders must have processed your learners details before you will be able to apply for certificates.

We aim to send out certificates to you as soon as possible providing your Centre has undertaken a successful Quality Assurance engagement. However, in peak times this can take up to 20 working days.


To request reprints please email contact@sportsleaders.org. Your request will then be processed within 10 working days.

To request reprints you will need the following information:

  • Course number
  • Centre name
  • Centre ID number
  • Learner names

Yes. To request a pass list please contact your regional Customer Service Advisor - 01908 689180 or on contact@sportsleaders.org

To request a pass list you will need the following information:

  • Course Number
  • Centre ID Number

Please note a pass list can only be sent to the Centre Course Manager.

Firstly, you will need to return the incorrect certificate to Sports Leaders with a covering letter with the correct spelling of your learner's name. Please return the to:

You should use the Quality Assurance Check List to prepare for a Quality Assurance Visit. This details the documents you should have available and will help you prepare for other areas that will be discussed at the visits. You can locate the QA check list from within the Tutor Resource section for the particular qualification you are delivering.

All Centres will go through a minimum of one annual Quality Assurance review. This will either be a visit to the Centre by a Quality Assurance Officer (QAO) or a request for evidence to be submitted to a QAO to review remotely as outlined in the Centre Manual.

Centres will be contacted by a QAO to make these arrangements but if Centres would like to organise this before then please contact the relevant regional Senior Quality Assurance Officer (SQAO)
