Teaching Leadership Toolkit

Due to regular demands from delegates on Tutor Training, the training team has been busy designing a toolkit that allows tutors to have access to re-usable activity cards for ten of the most popular activities used on training.

The toolkit consists of 10 generic activities to teach leadership skills. Each activity consists of an instruction card and a set of cards that can be used to carry out the activity. The activities are signposted to the relevant qualifications and the unit the activity is applicable to, in order to make them easy to use during your delivery.

Activities included in the toolkit are:

• Stop the game
• In at the deep end (sport and dance version)
• Team Diamond
• Invent a game
• And more...

The box will enable you to re-use the games time and time again. It will also allow you to save time making resources, giving you more time to do other important parts of your role. All the games are tried and tested, and have been shown to help tutors deliver successful leadership courses.

All Sports Leaders UK qualifications have transferred from the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) to the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF), with effect from 1st September 2010.
