Tutor Training Pre-Reading
Level 1 Award in Dance Leadership (DL1)
Level 2 Award in Dance Leadership
(DL2)
This is a full days Tutor Training that focuses
on giving information to new tutors of the Level 1
Award in Dance Leadership and the Level 2 Award in
Dance Leadership qualifications. The information and ideas
are disseminated through various briefings, workshops (which
include practical activities), and seminars. This Tutor Training
day is intended for new tutors of these
qualifications that have not previously received training for
either level.
The overall aims of the day are that delegates:
- Are fully informed about the qualifications they will be
delivering.
- Appreciate the value of practical delivery of the
qualifications.
- Understand the quality assurance procedures associated to the
qualifications and are confident to administer them.
- Become confident and motivated to run these
qualifications.
Throughout the day various sessions will be delivered, and
delegates will be given full handouts for each session so that the
information and ideas gained can be taken away.
