Setting The Right Environment
One of the key objectives at the start of any Sports Leaders UK
course should be to establish the right environment to allow
learners to feel comfortable to develop their leadership skills. A
good way to go about this is to establish yourself as a role model
that you want your leaders to emulate. This will give your
leaders a 'template' from which they will be able to develop their
own leadership styles around.

model.
During the process of your learners developing their leadership
skills, how do you want them to feel?
- Supported
- Confident
- High self-esteem
- Happy
- Knowledgeable
- Respected
- Safe
This will be the same for all of your leaders, however,
delivering your course with each learners' needs and experience in
mind will support you to ensure you set the right environment.
