Assessing Learners

Within your leadership group you will have a range of abilities and skills, the key is not to judge against the best person in the group, it is about developing leaders as individuals and allowing everybody to reach their full potential and to assess the individuals against the Assessment Criteria.

Encourage your students to express their strengths and weaknesses at an early stage by using a 'Confidence Curve'. This activity will give learners an opportunity to reflect on their ability as a leader, and help to identify where areas of support are required from the tutor.
