Level 3 Certificate in Higher Sports Leadership (HSL)

This is a half day that focuses on giving information to new tutors of the Level 3 Certificate in Higher Sports Leadership. If your centre does not have a Trained Tutor for the Level 3 Certificate in Higher Sports Leadership, one person must attend this half day. The information and ideas are disseminated through various briefings and activities.

This day is intended for new tutors of the Level 3 Certificate in Higher Sports Leadership, that have not received training for this qualification previously. This qualification is appropriate for any centre who works with candidates that are 16 years and older (the candidates need to be 18 years when completion of the course is achieved).

The workshop will cover the general content of the Level 3 Certificate in Higher Sports Leadership and engage delegates in some practical activity, looking at each of the units in greater detail. It will also provide clarity on the quality assurance and assessment methods which are required to run all Sports Leaders UK awards and qualifications.
