Tutor Training Dates & Venues 

There are 46 Tutor Training days throughout the UK during 2010-2011.  Each and every one of these will include workshops, briefings and seminars covering both the Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership (SL1), Level 2 Award in Sports Leadership (SL2) and Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership (CSL). 

Additionally, there is also the opportunity to attend other training days and half days which are run as strand workshops and can be applied for separately. A Refresher half-day training for experienced tutors can be accessed at 27 of the 46 training days. If your centre requires training specifically for the Level 1 Award in Dance Leadership (DL) then 19 full day training days can be accessed around the UK.  Alternatively, if the centre requires training in the Level 3 Certificate in Higher Sports Leadership (HSL) a half-day of training can be accessed on 25 training days around the UK. 

Please note that it is not possible to attend the Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership and the Level 2 Award in Sports Leadership training AND the Refresher, Level 3 Certificate in Higher Sports Leadership or  Level 1 Award in Dance Leadership training on the same day.

Sports Leaders UK also offers training on the Level 3 Award in Day Walk Leadership (DWL) and the Level 3 Certificate in Basic Expedition Leadership (BEL). Ten National Tutor Training days are held for these qualifications around the UK.
