Business As Usual

It's business as usual at Sports Leaders UK, despite the news of planned ministerial cuts to vocational qualifications.

Performance tables will be changing in 2014 line with new Government guidelines to reduce recognised vocational qualifications, but Sports Leaders UK qualifications will remain exactly the same.

"None of our qualifications will change their status," explained Linda Plowright, Chief Executive of Sports Leaders UK.

"All our qualifications remain nationally recognised, on the Qualifications and Credit Framework and are a proven progression route to employment and further education."

Teachers will have more choice in what they deliver from 2014 and this will be reflected in the performance league tables.
