Stevie, the Foundation Manager, is here to provide you
with support and advice in all matters relating to Sports Leaders
UK and our awards and qualifications. Rebecca will offer support
and guidance to community/voluntary groups wishing to access our
awards, and advise on possible progression routes for participants.

Becoming a tutor
To run the Sports Leaders UK awards and qualifications you
will need to have certain qualifications already, e.g. to run the
Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership you need a Teaching
Qualification, or a Youth Work Qualification, or relevant
experience. There are plenty of opportunities to attend National
Training Days to become a qualified tutor. If you are unsure of
anything please give me a ring to discuss your requirements,
possibilities and relevant experience.
Sports leadership - working in
Scotland
Sports Leaders UK works in partnership with Youth Scotland - this
is to provide quality volunteering and leadership opportunities
through quality activities and recognised qualifications in Dance.
The Girls on the Move Programme is specifically designed to
engage young women in active participation through dance and
leadership, enhancing their learning and active enjoyment.
