Sports Leaders UK Courses In Newcastle

Northumberland Clubs for Young People (NCYP) in Newcastle is among the thousands of centres offering Sports Leaders UK courses for young people.

Running both the Level 1 and Level 2 Awards in Sports Leadership, NCYP has recently trained a group of young leaders who can go on and assist other learners at the centre.

Learners are required to complete their Record of Achievement, which includes an Emergency First Aid course and 10 hours of sports leadership delivery within the local community.

Two recent leaders have since gone on to full-time employment in a sports environment and the scheme is proving successful with subsequent groups.
