New prices for 2008/09
From 1st April we will moving to a flat rate fee for Approved Assessment Centres that will cover the delivery of any number of qualifications and awards made. This will replace the individual charges levied for each accreditation and could represent savings for many centres.
However, costs continue to rise and our prices for 2008/09 reflect these pressures. We are intent on ensuring that our Centres continue to receive the best value for money and we have a number of added value services for you in the coming year, including:

QUALIFICATIONS - Extension to Accreditation Notice
The Level 2 Award in Basic Expedition Leadership (100/3400/6) has been re-accredited until 28th February 2009.
Sports Leaders UK has successfully extended the accreditation period of the Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership (100/3398/1), the Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership (500/1617/9) and the Level 3 Award in Higher Sports Leadership (100/3401/8) until 2009.

Sports Leaders UK is a member of the Non-formal Framework for Accrediting Young Peoples Achievements (NfAYPA). This network of organisations work in partnership to recognise the learning and accredit the achievements that young people gain through their involvement in the various qualifications and award programmes.

Sports Leaders UK are pleased to announce two new qualifications that were accredited to the National Qualifications Framework on 01 August 2006:
· Certificate in Community Sports Work (CCSW)
· Certificate in Managing Community Sport (CMCS)
These qualifications are products of the training provider, 'Chartstage' and Sports Leaders UK are the awarding body. For further information a brochure can be downloaded from www.chartstage.com

Centre staff can access details of the National Occupational Standards via the website of the Sector Skills Council, Skills Active www.skillsactive.com
These Standards provide the benchmarks for all qualifications at the appropriate levels and they have been used to help design all Sports Leaders UK's qualifications.
